We arrived on site just after 12.30pm, so far the weather was ok, dark clouds above though meant we had to move fast to put the awning up before it rained........ didn't make it.
Lesley insisted on filling the van full of water and the toilet, 20 mins later with the impending rainclouds about to unleash its heaviest rain fall since winter, we chose a pitch 
put up the poles and placed the lining over the poles, managed to peg out a corner and down it came. Nothing for it now, so we had lunch and a cup of tea. We sat it out for almost an hour, I quickly then pegged out the rest of the awning. The rest of the evening was fine, we went for a 3 mile walk to look at another site, Damage Barton. A very big site,great sea views and facilities, but not for us in the high season thankyou. Had a coffee at the shop before walking back.
